The Green Room Birmingham

10th April 09 http://www.greenroomcafebar.co.uk/
Pre -booked a table at the Green room for 5 people. No record of booking, but they still sorted a table out for us, Service was a little slow to start with, we had to wait far to long for our first beer!! But then had lots of banta with the waiter. Starters:Nachos with cheese, nice but lacked in the cheese department. Main: Green Room chicken caesar salad. Dessert Very Good!!: Apple & rhubarb with almond crumbles and custard, the crumble and custard bit was nice, have had better. Cost £23 inc 2 beers! I like the Green room, its good if you want to grap a little bite to eat before going to the theatre its spot on. Cost for sandwich which are £6 -£7. Would i go again: Yes but not have desserts!

English's restaurant Brighton then Northern Lights for coffee

17th Feb 09 http://www.englishs.co.uk/
When your working away from home your not really sure if you should stay and eat at the hotel or try and find a resturant to eat in?! On the advise of a work colleague, Andrew (AKA THE BOY) and I went to English's of Brighton seafood Restaurant and oyster bar. Being on a budget we opted for the set menu of 2 course's for £14.95. I had squid for starters which i think was a bad choice as it was so hot in taste even a gallon of water wouldn't have cooled my mouth down, for main course: Salmon very nice (winner!!) The staff we found to be very pompous but did find it rather funny watching him suck up to all the customers with money. Cost £20 for 1 person, drinking bottle water. Would i go again: Yes to try the fish and chips, but would'nt rush back.

On leaving we we found a lovely coffee shop for coffee and cake http://www.northernlightsbrighton.co.uk/ If your ever in brighton i would pay this place a visit.

My first blog

In my first blog, i had to pick the best resturant i have ever eaten in the world so far.
Laekjarbrekka is in Reykjavik Iceland, we nick named it the puffin resturant, and oh yes i had puffin for my main course and sea food soup for starters.
£50 would i go again Yes if i had the money to fly to iceland for dinner!! http://www.laekjarbrekka.is/index-en.php
